History
Welcome to Lee’s Gold Mine Jewelry! Our story starts in 1988 when my father, who is a master goldsmith, and my mother opened jewelry store In Philadelphia Jewelers’ row. You could say I grew up in the industry, helping parents at the store during weekends and summer. Perhaps due to this, I studied and graduated with degree in Metals and Jewelry / CAD CAM at Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
After working at established jewelry businesses and at my mother’s jewelry store, I took the big step in taking charge of store previously operated by our family friend. He had operated Goldmine Jewelry in Route 13 market for over 18 years, providing quality 14K and 10K gold jewelry, while also providing same day service on most repairs.
Wonderful Jewelry and Great Service
Since January of 2015, we have worked hard to build and forge an identity of our own by providing wonderful products and great service. In 2020, we expanded the size of the store and have started to offer new services like custom designs and fast machine engraving. This was made possible due to my husband joining the team in full time basis, providing repairs and other technical services in premise. He utilized the skills he had learned in the IT industry to bring efficiency and knowledge acquisition into jewelry business. While we currently offer various 14k and 10k jewelry, our plan is to offer custom designed Diamond engagement rings and bands, with choices between natural and lab grown diamonds.
